A paper pattern is much easier to use because you can use repositionable glue and stick it to a piece of cardstock. Once the pattern is temporarily glued in place, score the lines directly through the paper pattern then just cut it out on the solid lines and throw that pattern away. Just make sure you have made copies of each pattern on several sheets of standard copy paper. I have tested my patterns on many beginner stampers some as young as 12 years old so don’t be intimidated. Each pattern comes with step by step picture instructions. Just look at the first picture and read the directions for that step. Complete that then move to the next step. You will find it is quite easy.
